Behavior Matters LLC. is a group of professionals experienced in serving children in need of behavior support and specialized behavior
training. Behavior Matters utilizes the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support the efforts of children with developmental delays and their families to develop skills allowing them to live a life to its full potential. Our focus is always on the development of new appropriate skills to replace those frustrating the child and interfering with family, school or community life.
Behavior Matters' mission is to work with families and other professionals building essential life skills with children with Pervasive Developmental Delay (PDD), Autism, developmental disorders, and challenging behavior. In order to achieve these goals collaboration between Behavior Matters' staff and a child's support team is essential.
Technicians (RBT/ BCAT) implement instructional programs designed for children diagnosed with Autism or other developmental delays in the clinic, home, community, and/or school-based settings.
Behavior Technicians participate in an intensive training program encompassing instructional procedures and behavioral management procedures for instructing clients with Autism using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Behavior Technicians receive weekly supervision and support from a BCBA/ BCaBA/ QASP and ongoing training during the session with clients and staff meetings.
ABA Therapists are required to implement skill acquisition and behavioral programs and maintain and graph treatment data.
BCBA / BCABA/ QASP design and implement instructional programs designed for children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental delays in the clinic, home, community and/or school-based settings both as an instructor and/ or the supervisor.
BCBA/ BCABA/ QASP conduct Initial ABA Assessments/FBA, face-to-face interview and observation with client and caregiver, including administration of standardized and non-standardized tests, detail behavioral history, interpretation of test results, discussion of findings and recommendations with the primary caregiver(s) and preparation of the report.
BCBA/ BCABA/ QASP participate in clinical reviews ad case studies. They also supervise programs, instruct and train staff on programs and the science of behavior analysis.
All clinical staff participates in an intensive orientation and training program that encompasses instructional procedures and behavioral management procedures for instructing clients with Autism using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
ABA Technicians receive weekly supervision and support from a BCBA/ BCABA and ongoing training from Behavior Matters clinical staff.
ABA Technicians are required to implement educational and behavioral programs and maintain and graph treatment data.
ABA Technicians implement instructional programs designed for children diagnosed with Autism between the ages of 2 and 21 in the clinic, home, community and/or school-based settings.

Our supervision team works directly with clients and supervise our team of technicians. We are a collaborative team of professionals. Our AK group has a clinic, therapeutic preschool and day school. We encourage our technician staff to seek certification and as a result over 50% of our technician staff return to school. We strive to grow from within and grow the behavior analytic community.
